Eric was born and raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan. One of his most prized possessions as a boy was a neon green plastic “toy” camera he was given as a birthday gift. It shot real 35mm film and he put more than a few rolls through it in grade school.
After college, living in Italy and then New York, Eric found a good camera to be a steady companion in his explorations of these beautiful places. As he built a library of images of friends and family, he began receiving more and more requests for headshots. Portraiture remains a favorite activity in both his professional and personal work.
Eric is also the founder of Hayride Films and recently wrote and directed the feature film, “The Devil’s Restaurant.”
